When We Share Your Data

By default, we do not share your personal data except in the scenarios listed below. We store your data within any relevant third-party platforms we use to manage personal data as a company (e.g. Google Cloud, our CRM tool, etc.). Though third parties own these tools, we control who can access your data, and we ensure that these service providers are adhering to high privacy and security standards.

We might use your information, such as email, for remarketing, re-engagement, or creating similar audiences. Third-party vendors, including Google, may show our ads on sites across the Internet based on these audiences. We share your data within markeeters, with the teams that have a legitimate need to use it (e.g. marketing, business development, partner operations, etc.). When these requests are made legally and appropriately, we share your data with public authorities or law enforcement bodies where required by law or national security requirements. We do not sell your personal data to any third parties – it is used only for the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy.

How We Protect Your Data

markeeters has practices and controls in place designed to keep your personal data safe, ensure it’s managed responsibly, and verify that access is only granted to appropriately authorized individuals. These are described below.

Policies: Our various policies surrounding data protection and information security define the requirements that our internal teams must follow when it comes to handling and securing your information. They cover people processes as well as IT-managed technical practices.

Training: In order to ensure that our policies are understood and applied correctly, we provide training on the data protection principles applicable to each team’s day-to-day operations.

Information Security Controls: Along with policies and training, we ensure that appropriate security controls are in place for access management, secure transfer and storage (including encryption), appropriate retention, monitoring, and vulnerability management, among others.

Accessing & Managing Your Data

You have rights when it comes to accessing and managing your personal data. If you have a request surrounding access, correction, use restriction, or deletion of your personal data, or have any questions in general on our data processing practices, reach out to us here. We will respond as promptly as possible, and no later than 30 days after receiving your request.

Our Compliance Activities

Here are the concepts and practices markeeters has in place for complying with applicable regulatory requirements surrounding your personal data.

Regular Review: We review this Privacy Policy and related privacy notices on a regular basis, and ensure that we are continuing to process your personal data in ways that are compliant with these principles.

One Privacy Standard: markeeters has offices and associates around the world, in countries with varying data protection laws. We anchor our privacy program in the standards defined by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Regardless of where your data is processed, we apply the same protections described in this Privacy Policy in all locations.

Addressing Your Concerns: When we receive complaints or personal data requests, we respond first by contacting the individual making the complaint. We’ll do our best to work with the individual to resolve the complaint directly. If that’s not possible, we also work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve complaints.

Our Subprocessors

markeeters utilizes third-party service providers to carry out some of the personal data processing that we do. These providers are our “sub-processors”. Each subprocessor maintains its own privacy policies and practices, but we ensure that those practices meet the same privacy standards we have in place at markeeters.‍
